Courting Announce New Album & Tour

One of the most underrated bands around at the minute, Courting have announced their return with news of their second album release and a huge UK & European tour.

‘New Last Name’ will be released via Lower Third on January 26th 2024 – the eagerly anticipated follow-up to acclaimed debut success, ‘Guitar Music’.

The Liverpool four-piece have also released a video for new single, ‘Throw’, and confirmed live dates across February to May next year.

Frontman, Sean Murphy O’Neill, commented: “It’s a theatrical play within an album. There’s a lot going on. It can be simply enjoyed as an album, but there are characters, acts, stage directions etc. The listeners can decide on the narrative themselves, but we want them to get lost in it.”

Speaking specifically about the new single, Sean added: “We wanted to write a song with a plot twist, a song that could be described as an epic.”

The new album features studio collaborations with The Cribs, and you can catch the new music on their extensive tour which sees Courting visiting Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, and plenty more towns and cities in 2024.

Tickets for the tour, of which full dates are listed below, will go on sale at 10am tomorrow – Friday 10th November.
