After being confirmed for a coveted slot on Billy Bragg’s stage at Glastonbury next month, Rianne Downey is celebrating the big news with a brand new single, Dancing In The Rain, out tomorrow.

Set to be Rianne’s most dancefloor-ready pop track to date, the new single precedes the release of highly anticipated third EP, Method To My Madness, out Friday 9th June.

With indie, country, and folk all attributed to Rianne’s previous releases, Dancing In The Rain shows the Scottish artist once again testing her creativity and experimenting with new genres.

Rianne commented: “Dancing In The Rain encapsulates that brief moment between a relationship ending and something new beginning and the conflicting baggage that comes with it: guilt, heartbreak, hope, emancipation. Musically, think of a festival in British summertime: grey clouds are circling above, but the sun begins to emerge. It’s the last-chance dance, snatching joy in the face of adversity.”

You can catch the track live when Rianne tours festivals and headline dates later this year, following the release of the brand new EP.
