Glastonbury Data Reveals Top 10 Performances of 2022

The long awaited return of Glastonbury was warmly received by festival-goers and all those watching along on the BBC in record numbers, with headliners Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar topping a packed bill full of surprises, special guests, and important messages.

From the appearance of young climate activist, Greta Thunberg, to the northern powerhouse of Blossoms and Melanie C performing “Spice up Your Life”, it really was a Glastonbury to remember. Not to mention the already iconic Paul McCartney set, which welcomed Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen to the Pyramid Stage on Saturday.

So Olivia Rodrigo and Lily Allen‘s surprise collaboration takes the crown for most popular Glastonbury perfromance of 2022, and deservedly so as the pair dedicated the track, “F*** You” to the US Supreme Court. It’s no surprise that Macca is not far behind, featuring twice with his Dave Grohl collaboration and virtual duet with John Lennon. Fast-rising UK acts like Sam Fender and Wet Leg also feature in the Top 10!

Now we can enjoy the rest of the summer festival season and look forward to what’s in store at Glastonbury in 2023. Many names are being touted as potential headliners so we can’t wait to see the lineup in the near future…
