Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) have announced vinyl reissues of their albums Liberator and Universal, set for release on August 6th. It follows their ‘Souvenir’ 40th anniversary celebrations in 2020, when they released a greatest hits album and anniversary box set.

Neither of the albums have been available on vinyl since their initial release, and they will both return on 180g black vinyl. They have been remastered at Abbey Road Studios, following in the footsteps of their popular singles ‘Enola Gay’ and ‘Electricity’, both of which have been reissued recently.

OMD have also confirmed a UK tour in November of this year. They will be performing the albumArchitecture & Morality, along with a collection of other hits from their extensive back catalogue. The tour includes two eagerly anticipated hometown shows at the Liverpool Empire and Olympia

They will also be performing a ‘You Me & OMD’ livestream at London’s Indigo at The O2 on June 19th, in an attempt to rally fans in raising money and awareness for their crew, whose livelihoods have been decimated during the pandemic.
