Release Week: The Chase’s New EP Out This Friday!

The Chase have enjoyed an impressive 12 months, rising out of Nottingham with an array of strong singles and live performances to back up the hype. Now, they are ready to release their brand new EP, “Not The F***ing Game Show” out 6th May (Friday) via Golden Robot Records.

The title of the EP is a humorous response to growing tired of the reply, “oh, like the game show”, when introducing the band name. But it’s a name becoming more familiar with music fans by the day, with backing from the likes of new music champions, This Feeling, helping to spread the word.

The six-track EP explores social commentary from the perspective of songwriter and frontman, Tyler Heaney, combining the band’s personal experiences, both positive and negative. Tyler commented: “If my mind was a TV and you were flicking through the channels, each track on this EP would be a different TV show. From drama to comedy to biopic, it’s an anthology of what it’s like navigating through your 20s.”

James from the band adds: “Not the F*cking Game Show is a snapshot of the band throughout the turbulent ups and downs of the last few years. It’s an insight to us as people and the band’s personality is imprinted on every song from start to finish.”

‘Not the F*cking Game Show’ is available for pre-order/add/save now. Physical copies of the EP on CD and limited edition Cassette are also available to pre-order from: See the full tracklist and May tour dates below.
