The Royal Albert Hall is set to welcome more big names in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust in 2022, with the lineup of music and comedy revealed today. The concert series has been running for two decades now, driven by Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron and The Who icon, Roger Daltrey, who will perform at the event this year. The 20 year anniversary celebrations were put on hold in 2020 due to the pandemic, with 2021 unfortunately having to also cancel, but the shows will finally return this year from March 21-27th.

Don Broco will kick things off on the Monday, following their first UK number one album success earlier this year. An Evening of Comedy hosted by Joel Dommett with special guests Tom Allen, Rob BeckettRosie Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Suzi Ruffell and Seann Walsh follows the day after. Doncaster’s pop punk star, YUNGBLUD and iconic British group, Madness will then perform on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

As alluded to earlier, legendary British rock band, The Who will be part of the 2022 lineup, playing a very special acoustic show on Friday March 25th. Oasis icon and now solo star in his own right, Liam Gallagher will perform on Saturday 26th March, with one of the biggest global names in pop music, Ed Sheeran rounding off an outstanding week of live music and entertainment.

Chief Executive of the Teenage Cancer Trust, Katie Collins commented:
“We are so grateful to Roger and all the acts coming together to help us ensure that young people don’t have to face cancer alone.  The past two years have been so tough for young people with cancer and their families.  As well as being amazing gigs these vital fundraising shows going ahead will make the world of difference.  Without the money raised at events like this – and people like Roger giving up their time to help others – our work would not happen and young people with cancer would go through treatment without the vital specialist care and support we provide.”
