Ahead of their first album in 30 years, out in June, Liverpool electronic indie pioneers, The Farm are back with another taste of what to expect from their eagerly awaited return.
“That Feeling” is out now, and is the third track to be taken from “Let The Music (Take Control)”, out Friday 20th June 2025 via Modern Sky records.
The new song is partly inspired by Chic, following guitarist Keith Mullin’s encounter with music icon, Nile Rodgers, at Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts.
Frontman, Peter Hooton expands on the themes of the song: “The idea behind this song is trying to get into the heart and mind of someone who thinks they are the future of the world.
“People are more easily duped by false narratives in this day and age, falling into the obvious traps. We need to better understand each other to work out why.”

“That Feeling” follows the previous two singles “Forever And Ever” and “Moment In Time”, which were both received warmly by fans.
The new album has been produced with Mike Cave (The Charlatans, Bloc Party) in Liverpool.
It will be released on multiple formats including limited and standard edition vinyl, CD and digital formats.
You can also catch the band on the live stages this year, continuing the touring they have kept going for the last decade. This time however, it comes with new music…
