After building a stellar reputation as one of the north’s most exciting up and coming bands, and acquiring a loyal fanbase up and down the country along the way, The Goa Express are now approaching the release of their highly anticipated debut album.

The self titled record will be released on December 1st, shortly after their brand new single, ‘It’s Never Been Better’, graces fans’ ears on November 27th.

The band commented: “‘It’s Never Been Better’ existed for many years as a home demo on GarageBand. Reinvigorated in the studio, the song is a match made in heaven for the summer months and reminds us of the moments we used to spend together with those who ended up going different ways.”

Together, brothers James Douglas Clarke (Guitar + Vocals) and Joe Clarke (Keys), along with Joey Stein (Lead Guitar), Naham Muzaffar (Bass) and Sam Launder (Drums), are gearing up for a landmark moment in their journey.

With Ocean Colour Scene’s Damon Minchella and Tom Manning on production, the debut album was recorded in the Welsh village of Raglan and encapsulates an impressive rise, which most recently saw The Goa Express star in Netflix hit film, Bank of Dave.

With acclaimed slots at Glastonbury, Latitude and The Great Escape under their belt, the remaining live dates are listed below where you can see the new album on the live stage this year.
