Tom A Smith Releases EP3

Fresh from another stint at Glastonbury, performing on stages such as Billy Bragg’s Leftfield last weekend, Sunderland’s rising star, Tom A Smith, has today released the highly anticipated EP3.

Featuring popular singles Little Bits, Like You Do, and Weirdo, the third instalment of Tom’s music career away from the ‘Tom Mouse Smith’ era is his most mature to date, progressing into one of the UK’s most hotly tipped new artists as he approaches an extensive UK tour.

The new EP features a cover of Swedish House Mafia’s Don’t You Worry Child, alongside tracks produced by the likes of Miles Kane and Larry Hibbitt (Sea Girls, Nothing But Thieves)

Speaking about the new EP, Tom commented: “Had the best time recording the EP with Larry Hibbitt as well as Miles Kane. I’m really pleased to show so many different sides of my song writing.

We decided to add the cover of “Don’t You Worry Child” because it was going down so well when we played it live. It’s a great three minutes of singalong fun.”

Tom has supported the likes of Gang of Youths, Miles Kane, and Courteeners recently, along with some stand-out sets on the festival circuit where, alongside his new band, the live shows has been developing significantly.
