It’s a bumper week of ticket releases, with some of the biggest names in indie, rock and pop all revealing tour dates, as well as two big festivals going on sale today. Each Friday, we post our selection of big releases, with full list of dates, ticket links and times of sale. With plenty to get through today, let’s kick off our choices…

Foals

Following the release of their excellent new single ‘Wake Me Up’, indie royalty, Foals added three new UK dates to their 2022 headline tour this week. The Oxford band will be visiting Hull, Newcastle and Brighton, with tickets going on sale today at 9am via  www.gigsandtours.com  / www.ticketmaster.co.uk  / http://www.foals.co.uk/tour. Franz Ferdinand

After announcing their greatest hits album, ‘Hits To The Head’Franz Ferdinand have this week announced a run of European dates for Spring 2022. The Scots will be visiting London, Manchester and Glasgow as part of the UK leg, with tickets going on sale today at 10am via  www.franzferdinand.com. Full tour dates are below.

Mercury winners, Alt-J are back with a new single ‘Get Better’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘The Dream’, out February 11th. Charli XCX

The Skinner Brothers

Fast-rising UK band, The Skinner Brothers are following up their acclaimed support slot on Kasabian’s tour with a huge tour of their own in March 2022. Tramlines Festival

The wait for Tramlines‘ first announcement is over, as they announced this week that Sam Fender, Kasabian and Madness would top an impressive bill at Hillsborough Park, Sheffield next year. Live at Leeds in the Park

One of the UK’s best day festivals is branching out in 2022, with Live at Leeds ‘In The Park’ taking place at Temple Newsam. The festival has become renowned for displaying the UK’s most exciting new music talent over the years, and with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Nothing But Thieves, Arlo Parks, Easy Life and Sea Girls confirmed, 2022 offers some huge names.
