Jamie Webster Is Back – New Single Out Tomorrow

Ahead of some huge headline shows in his hometown Liverpool, Merseyside’s breakthrough indie folk star, Jamie Webster, will make his eagerly anticipated return tomorrow with a brand new single, Voice Of The Voiceless.

Webster has been back in the studio with esteemed producer, Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Kylie Minogue), at the iconic Rockfield Studios, and we are about to get the first taste of the next chapter as Jamie looks to build on his fast-paced rise.

Commenting on the new track, Jamie says: “‘Voice Of The Voiceless’ is a call to action for people who feel like they’ve got no way out of a life where the odds are constantly stacked against us. So many of us feel alone, powerless and with no chance to succeeding in today’s society.

“This song is a reminder that we’re not alone, that if we rise from the shadows and come together, we might actually have a chance to make a positive change for everyone.”

The title of the new single is a signal that Jamie Webster will continue to speak out on the most important societal issues, with previous releases addressing political divisions, the British justice system and a plethora of other pressing topics.

It is this that gained Jamie the acclaim of Billy Bragg, who handed him a debut Glastonbury slot on the Leftfield Stage last year. This was upgraded in 2023, where Webster took to the larger Avalon Stage at the UK’s biggest music festival.

Jamie Webster will play two huge sold out shows at Liverpool’s Pier Head this week, so if you are heading to the shows make sure you check out the new music tomorrow.
