Marcus Mumford Goes Solo, Announces Tour!

As a founding member of Mumford & Sons, Marcus Mumford has spent many years playing some of the biggest stages worldwide, topping the Billboard 200 on three occasions and selling 3.7 Million albums in the UK alone. Now, he is ready to go it alone, with a solo album and tour on the way!

With two BRITs, an Ivor Novello award and two GRAMMY’s (including Album of the Year) to their name, Mumford & Sons come with a strong track record, and Marcus’s vocals are an integral part of the band’s success. He will be hoping for similar success with the forthcoming debut solo record, “self-titled”, out via Island Records on September 16th.

The album has been produced by Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes, Jim James), with featuring artists including Brandi CarlilePhoebe Bridgers, Clairo and Monica Martin. You can pre-order now, with lead single, “Cannibal” now available – listen HERE.
