After a quiet week for ticket releases over the Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend, this week has more than made up for it. With plenty to choose from, we have narrowed down our four selections, including a 10 year album anniversary, a Scottish indie comeback, one of the UK’s best live bands, and the latest gig from BBC Music Introducing. Here are our choices with links, dates and times of sale…

JAKE BUGG

His recent album, “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning” saw Jake Bugg make a sonic shift, with the likes of singles, “All I Need” and “Lost”. Now though, it’s time to look back at the breakthrough eponymous debut record, as it celebrates a 10 year anniversary in 2022. With this in mind, Jake has announced a special hometown show at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on November 26th, with general sale HERE at 10am.

EDITORS

Editors have revealed details of their seventh studio album“EBM”, out 23rd September via Play It Again Sam. The band have also announced a 17 date European tour taking place in October, including six shows in the UK and Ireland in early 2023. THE VIEW

15 years on from their stellar debut album, “Hats Off To The Buskers”The View are reuniting to play their first show in over five years at the O2 Academy Glasgow on December 16th. The show will feature the band’s classic line-up: Kyle Falconer (vocals/guitar), Kieran Webster (bass/vocals) and Pete Reilly (guitar). BBC MUSIC INTRODUCING

And last but not least, the latest BBC Music Introducing show has been revealed, with one of the UK’s most hotly tipped bands headlining in the shape of The Royston Club. Not only that, but the talented Tom A. Smith continues his fast-paced rise with a slot on Thursday 7th July, “Live at the Lexington”, fresh from announcing a support slot with Elton John at Hyde Park. The talented Lizzie Esau, the latest musical product of Newcastle, also joins the lineup, in what promises to be a top night of live music.
