Peter Kay’s ‘Doing it for Laura’ Q&A Shows

One of the UK’s finest comedians, Peter Kay has announced two special Q&A shows at the Manchester Apollo on Saturday 7th August, with all profits going to ‘Doing it for Laura’ and ‘The Brain Tumour Charity’. It is in aid of Laura Nuttall, who was 18 and in her first term of university when she was given the devastating diagnosis of Glioblastoma, a grade 4 brain cancer with a prognosis of 12-18 months. Following two brain surgeries, 30 sessions of radiotherapy and 12 months of chemotherapy in the UK, her family identified experimental immunotherapy available in Germany and Laura has been making regular trips out to Cologne when Covid has allowed.

She is now 2.5 years post diagnosis and has just completed her second year at Manchester University. She is also a young ambassador for the Brain Tumour Charity and doing really well, but needs to continue to fund the treatment in order to stay one step ahead of the cancer, which the ‘Doing It For Laura’ charity is aiming to provide.
