Suede have confirmed two extra dates in Nottingham and Bristol for November, accompanying their rescheduled tour. The gigs will take place at Rock City and the O2 Academy respectively, and will include the band’s critically acclaimed third album ‘Coming Up’ played in full, celebrating 25 years since release.
‘Coming Up’ was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 1997 and became a huge commercial success following its release in September 1996, with an incredible five Top 10 singles spawning from the album. Despite many of the tracks remaining in Suede setlists ever since, it will be the perfect chance to relive the album in all of its glory from start to finish at a live show.
Sky Arts will be extending the celebrations of Suede’s iconic record by screening a classic album documentary on Coming Up this Friday 7th May at 9pm. It will include exclusive interviews with the band, producer, publicist, art director and manager at the time of release.
