Seb Lowe Announces 2023 Manchester Date

Seb Lowe has continued his remarkable breakthrough year with a new headline show announcement, as the Saddleworth singer-songwriter prepares to take on Manchester’s Band on the Wall next year. Lowe, who performed at Glastonbury earlier this year and packed out another city venue in the shape of Gorilla, will head to the famous Manchester venue on Saturday 11th February 2023.

It will be his biggest headline show to date and is testament to his ever-growing fanbase, following popular EP releases, “Half Decent” and “The Other Half”. Known for his politically charged and relatable lyricism, Seb Lowe is one of the many success stories starting out on the TikTok platform, but he is now undoubtedly becoming one of the UK’s most in demand rising stars.

We spoke to Seb earlier this year on the Fantasy Pints Podcast

Speaking about his most recent popular EP, Seb commented: “The Other Half is largely an amalgamation of my own thoughts. It sort of dots about the place with different ideas about different things. This ranges from something close to spoken word acoustic poetry – trying hopelessly to tackle ideas around conspiracy theories and political disillusionment – to the more built-up pieces, the stuff I would even call ‘songs’.

“‘Upper Class’ and ‘Rat Sh*t’ are still quite grounded in my usual patter about how broken the world is and my last single ‘There She Stood’ is almost a break from that, being a song, which is just about a boy and a girl.”

The talented artist signed to the Sound On label recently, and went on to support Liam FrayDMA’s, Louis Dunford and James. He will also open for Jamie Webster and Dylan John Thomas in November and December.

Tickets for the Band On The Wall show go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 9th November from www.gigsandtours.com.
