Orlando Weeks Set For March UK Tour Dates

It’s been nearly six years since the indie world was rocked by the news of The Maccabees deciding to call it a day after 14 years as a band, with a farewell tour following. The individual members have since followed different paths, with Felix White notably presenting the Tailenders podcast alongside Greg James and Jimmy Anderson, as well as heading up YALA Records and releasing acclaimed books.

Now, frontman Orlando Weeks is back in the spotlight as he prepares for a solo UK tour following the release of his latest album, ‘Hop Up’ in 2022. He announced a run of dates starting at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on Thursday 10th March and including stops in Edinburgh and Manchester en route to the final London show at the Barbican Centre on Sunday 20th March.

Whilst we’re all hoping for that eventual Maccabees reunion, Orlando Weeks’ live show promises an unmissable run of performance at some of the UK’s finest intimate venues. The album was widely acclaimed when released last month, so it will be the first taste of the new music on the live stage for many fans.
