The UK’s foremost psychedelic music and arts festival has revealed its incredible full one-day line-up. Manchester Psych Fest has announced a host of additional artists, including Malian rebel rockers Tinariwen as co-headliners with Stereolab, feted post-punk outfit Dry Cleaning, afrobeat eight-piece Kokoroko and Japanese psych veterans Kikagaku Moyo.

Elsewhere on the bill Billy Nomates, Porridge Radio, Jadu Heart, Crack Cloud, Pins, Los Bitchos and The Mysterines join a mighty bill that already features Stealing Sheep, Whyte Horses and Bo Ningan.

Also performing is Welsh composer and violinist Angharad Davies, who is joined by the pioneering Gwenno for an unmissable live score of the multi award-winning experimental film Bait

Manchester Psych Fest organiser Gareth Butterworth said: “We’re really excited to launch the full line-up today. It’s our biggest and best to date – we’ve worked really hard to deliver a strong and diverse bill and we’re proud of it. It’s been a long time coming but it’s an amazing feeling to finally be getting back to live music. We can’t wait for September, it’s going to be incredible.”

Taking place on Saturday 4 September at renowned Mancunian venues in the shape of the O2 Ritz, Gorilla, Dancehouse, Deaf Institute and YES, the festival will once again feature art installations from a selection of local artists and illustrators, as well as pop-up street food stalls, merch and much more.

Tickets are now available, with discounted rates for all NHS staff: manchesterpsychfest.com
