The seaside will once again become the backdrop for a weekend of indie, alternative and dance music when Shiiine On Weekender returns to Butlin’s Skegness from 19th–21st March 2027.
Forget muddy fields and soggy tents. Shiiine On offers three nights of live music, DJs and late-night parties, with festival-goers able to swap the campsite for a proper bed at the end of each night.
The 2027 line-up is already shaping up to be one of the event’s biggest yet. Friday gets underway with Cast making their first appearance at Shiiine On in Skegness, taking headline duties with Black Grape and Reverend and the Makers also featuring on the bill.
Babyshambles are set to make their Shiiine On debut as Saturday night headliners. They’ll be joined by indie favourites Gene, also appearing at the weekender for the first time, while Ned’s Atomic Dustbin return as familiar faces to the festival.
The weekend will come to a close on Sunday with Ash back at the top of the bill. Starsailor and Sleeper will join them for the final night, rounding off another three-day celebration of alternative music by the sea.

The music may be at the heart of Shiiine On, but the weekend is designed to keep going long after the headline sets have finished.
The Rave On strand is being expanded for 2027, with its own dedicated dance stage featuring The Sabres of Paradise and The Orb.
Elsewhere, Bez will bring his Day Party to Skegness, joined by Steve Davis, while James Atkin and Kavus Torabi are also set to feature.
For something a little more stripped back, the Shiiine On Acoustic Stage will host performances from The Bluetones and Chris Helme. Sunday night will then see Tim Burgess team up with Star Shaped for the closing party.
The entertainment programme extends beyond music too. Rob Newman will headline the Comedy Stage, with Terry Christian bringing his live show My Word! to the festival.
Away from the stages, the weekend will feature everything from pool parties and club nights to exhibitions, street food, craft ales and sports bars.
The Tonic Stage will also return, although its 2027 line-up is yet to be announced, while Alan Leach’s Indie Quiz and Bingo adds another reason to step away from the live music for a while.
For anyone who has had enough of sleeping in a tent, navigating a muddy field or making the late-night journey back to a campsite, the appeal is fairly straightforward: three nights of music, with your own bed waiting afterwards.
Shiiine On Weekender takes place at Butlin’s Skegness from 19th–21st March 2027.
