The Lathums are back with their first new music in more than 12 months, as new single Vice Versa landed earlier today.
It arrives in the lead up to their number one debut album’s five-year anniversary, accompanied by a video shot by the acclaimed James Slater.
The track is the result of writing sessions with Grammy-nominated musician, Ian Archer (Liam Gallagher, Jake Bugg, Tom Smith), as songwriter Alex Moore looked to broaden his musical horizons.
Alex commented: “‘Vice Versa’ was written from a feeling of not fully belonging in the world we’ve built around ourselves.
“It came from that experience of having everything you need to survive, yet still feeling hungry for meaning, connection, and peace.
“The song sits between connection and alienation, between needing people deeply and fearing what we carry inside ourselves.
The band support Richard Ashcroft at Alexandra Palace Park, London tonight, before their summer festival dates get underway at Nottingham’s Splendour 2026 this weekend.
