The Snuts have announced their eagerly anticipated fourth studio album, Joy In Short Moments.
The record will be released on October 23rd via Happy Artist Records in partnership with Virgin Music Group.
As a taster, the band have also released new single Defibrillator, produced by frontman Jack Cochrane and Scotty Anderson.
Jack commented on the track: “I wanted to write a track that detailed a conscious decision to live and love more.
“To take life less seriously and dilute ego as often as possible.
“Defibrillator is a song that celebrates the collective and trivialises the sludgy worries of being alive.”
On the forthcoming album, Cochrane adds: “After three records of constant motion, I felt pulled back towards real life.
“Success, failure, parenthood and loss all found their way into these songs.
“Joy in Short Moments is the sound of reconnecting with what matters and learning to find meaning in the small things whilst navigating the questions; Who am I? Where should I be? Where am I going? What makes it all worthwhile?”
The band will perform at TRNSMT today, broadcast on the BBC, before heading out on an extensive tour this autumn.
