No Bounds Festival will return to Sheffield and Rotherham from 9th–11th October 2026, bringing together some of South Yorkshire‘s most influential cultural figures alongside international artists, community organisations and emerging talent.
Since 2017, No Bounds has established itself as one of the UK’s leading festivals exploring the intersections of music, art, technology and place.
This year’s programme marks a deliberate return to the grassroots ethos that helped define the festival’s early years, with events taking place across 10 independent venues and exhibition spaces.
The 2026 edition introduces a new symposium and discourse programme designed to engage audiences, artists and local communities in conversations about the festival’s future.
At the heart of the programme is Rotherham-born artist and electronic music innovator Mark Fell, who will premiere his new work.
The festival opens with a major audiovisual performance from acclaimed composer and visual artist Max Cooper, who will present his immersive 3D live show at Peddler Warehouse, supported by Sheffield’s Emergence Collective.
South Yorkshire techno heavyweight Blawan joins dubstep architect Mala, bassline star Oppidan, Copenhagen selector Main Phase and XL Recordings artist KAVARI on the bill.
Sheffield electronic music legends The Black Dog will also return with a special edition of their Loud Ambient performance, along with Sheffield rapper, artist and illustrator Kid Acne premiering material from his forthcoming album.
Elsewhere, the festival welcomes a UK debut performance from Gyrofield alongside new commissions and presentations from long-standing festival collaborators 96 Back and Rian Treanor.
Community collectives including Gut Level, Wub Club, The Beatriarchy, Bass Off, Unity Underground, La Rumba and Funky Drummer will also contribute to the programme, with the lineup poster shown below…
Beyond the music programme, No Bounds will present a series of exhibitions exploring South Yorkshire’s artistic heritage and contemporary creative practice.
Highlights include an exhibition based on Daniel Dylan Wray‘s extensive documentation of Sheffield’s independent music culture, a showcase connected to Kid Acne‘s forthcoming publication, and an exhibition charting three years of Rian Treanor’s Electronic Music Club project.
The festival is also strengthening its network of partnerships, with Kitchen Radio joining as official local radio partner and new collaborations with Yorkshire Sound Women’s Network, Outlands and the Oram Awards supporting artists working across music, sound and technology.
Events are taking place across venues including Peddler Warehouse, Yellow Arch Studios, DRYAD Works, Factory Floor, Plot 22, Gut Level, Delicious Clam, Alder, Fagan’s and Hope Centre.
