Reverend & The Makers Announce UK Tour – New Album Out Next Month

Ahead of their eagerly anticipated album release next month, Reverend & The Makers have announced a 13-date UK tour.

Starting in November, the Sheffield indie veterans will visit Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, and Manchester this year, with full dates listed at the end of this article.

It follows a recent sold-out run of intimate gigs and last year’s 30,000 strong homecoming show at Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus to celebrate two decades as a band.

May 8th will see the release of new record, Is This How Happiness Feels?, which follows the Top 10 success of 2023’s Heatwave In The Cold North.

The #6 effort was their first Top 10 album since their 2007 debut, The State of Things, and also contained their biggest single in over a decade.

The new album was produced by Danny Lafrombé and Jon McClure (frontman), featuring previously released singles ‘Late Night Phone Call’, ‘Haircut’ featuring Vicky McClure, ‘UFO’ and ‘Twenty-Seven Past Midnight’.

Jon commented: “This album has been a labour of love owing to personal reasons but has emerged as a joyous triumph. It’s easily the best thing we’ve ever done and will surprise a few people too.”

Can the band continue their unbroken streak of seven Top 20 albums to their name?

Tickets for the tour are on sale at 10am this Friday (24th April) here.
