After releasing her debut album ‘Dancing At The Edge Of The World’ last year, and starting 2026 with a Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance, Brooke Combe is back with new music.
New single ‘Tears Won’t Lie’ is out now, and is Brooke’s first release as a new label signing on Fontana Records.
The track was produced by The Coral’s James Skelly at Kempston Street Studios in Liverpool, continuing the tight knit partnership between the pair.
Brooke commented: “’Tears Won’t Lie’ is a song that explores the truth that surfaces after a relationship falls apart.
“It’s about someone who has spent years hiding their pain behind a smile, only to be confronted with the emotional reality they can’t suppress anymore.
“Sort of like the moment grief, self-awareness and reality meet, and you’re suddenly awake and won’t lose yourself to love again.”
The track is accompanied by a retro video directed by James Slater (CMAT, Sam Fender, Jamie T), filmed in Saltaire, West Yorkshire.
Set to the backdrop of a Northern Soul night, the video follows Brooke looking to forget her troubles at the dance hall while she fights back her tears.
And fans will get chance to see the new track live as Brooke embarks on her second sold-out headline run across the UK.
Headlining London’s KOKO tonight, Brooke will also support Jalen N’gonda across the UK & Europe later this year.
This includes a date at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on October 28th, and Brooke will also perform plenty of UK & EU festival slots throughout the summer.
