Manchester post punk band, IST IST are back with their fifth album ‘DAGGER’ – out now!
The album landed on Friday and is currently at an impressive midweek position of #3 in the Official Charts.
It means that they are on track for their most successful chart position to date!
IST IST commented: “So we may or may not be in a chart battle here… we’re very much in the hunt for our first ever Top 20 album and we might also be able to have a go at cracking the Top 10.
“If you haven’t ordered your copy of ‘DAGGER’ or claimed the download which came with your purchase, now is the time to do it.
“Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us and this release, we wouldn’t be here without you but we’re not quite done yet. Keep it coming and let’s see where we end up on Friday!”

‘DAGGER’ was produced with Courteeners‘ bassist Joe Cross, who is also responsible for the production of Hurts, Slow Readers Club and more.
It was completely self-funded, self-recorded, and released independently via their in-house Kind Violence Records imprint.
Following a run of European shows, IST IST will be heading out on tour again in April to perform the new songs live.
The band’s UK & Ireland tour include stops in Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
They will precede their biggest hometown show to date, at Manchester’s Albert Hall in May.
In addition, IST IST have confirmed some intimate in-store/out-store shows for the new album launch, with full live dates listed below.
