Sound City returns to Liverpool next year, with two headliners already revealed for the inner-city new music showcase.

The festival will take place from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 3rd May 2026, preceded by the annual Sound City+ Conference on Friday 1st May.

Fast-rising London group Keo and international singer-songwriter Jalen Ngonda were recently revealed as the bill-toppers for 2026.

Announced this morning, joining the headliners are the likes of Westside Cowboy, Brooke Combe, Keyside, and The Lilacs.

Alongside the line-up announcement, Sound City has opened applications to give up and coming artists a chance to perform at the festival next year.

Powered by TuneCore and Amplead, the Apply To Play portal has an impressive track record, with past applicants including the likes of Ed Sheeran, Grimes, and Christine and the Queens.

Sound City Managing Director, Becky Ayres commented: “Sound City has always been about discovering tomorrow’s superstars today. This first wave gives a glimpse of the unforgettable experiences waiting for audiences in Liverpool in 2026.”

The Sound City+ Conference returns with support from the BPI, PRS, PPL, PRSF, AIM and UK Music, offering a key meeting point for industry leaders through panels, networking events, and workshops.

Sound City also continues its longstanding support of Keychange, the global initiative for gender equality in music.

Following the fast early-bird sell-out, Weekend and Day Tickets for Sound City 2026 are now available via the festival’s website.
