The hotly tipped Man/Woman/Chainsaw have signed to Fiction Records, home to The Cure, St. Vincent, and many more acclaimed artists.
It aligns with their debut single release on the label, “Only Girl”, recorded at RAK Studios with Geordie Greep, Seth Evans, and Margo Broom.
Vera Leppänen, lead vocalist on “Only Girl”, commented: “Only Girl is our playful love song. Built around a ripping violin top-line and birthed from a grungy guitar jam, it gradually became something more boisterous and altogether more joyful – a total declaration of love. We had a lot of fun making it.”
The news follow a second sold out tour of the year in October, live sessions for both KEXP and Steve Lamacq at BBC 6 Music, and a debut at SXSW in 2025.
The group have also announced a free entry London show at Omeara in December, with tickets available now.
Three further headline dates in February in Hebden Bridge, Edinburgh and Liverpool will all go on sale this Friday, 21st November at 10am.
Their highly anticipated debut album will follow in 2026, and you can watch the visualiser for “Only Girl” HERE.
