After it was teased during the weekend, Foo Fighters confirmed on Monday that they will be heading to Liverpool to perform two shows at Anfield Stadium in 2026.
It forms part of their UK / EU “Take Cover” stadium tour, with 12 shows, including festival headline slots, announced across June and July.
The Anfield dates will take place on 25th and 27th June, with tickets on general sale this Friday.
Support for the opening show will come from Inhaler and Otoboke Beaver, while Royel Otis and Die Spitz will take to the stage on the second night in Merseyside.

The news follows Foo Fighters‘ new single release ‘Asking for a Friend’.
IDLES and Fat Dog are among the special guests performing across the rest of the EU run.
General sale for the new dates begins Friday 14 November at 10:00am local time.
