Manchester post-punk band IST IST have announced a huge homecoming show for 2026.
They will perform a special show at Albert Hall on Friday 1st May 2026 to celebrate their 10th anniversary as a band.
Joining the band for this special occasion will be special guests Desperate Journalist and The Youth Play.
The band commented: “Playing the Albert Hall in our home city is a bit of a pinch yourself moment for us but it’s also the culmination of over ten years of hard work as a band.
“It’ll be a big celebration for us and all our amazing fans who’ve been with us on this long and winding journey throughout the music industry, life, lockdowns and whatever else has been thrown at us along the way. We deserve it and they deserve it.”
The announcement precedes the eagerly anticipated release of their fifth album which has just been finished in the studio.
It is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed fourth record ‘Light A Bigger Fire’, which landed last year.
They took the album out on the road to 8,000 people across thirteen countries, including highlights at the Paradiso in Amsterdam and New Century Hall in Manchester.
This year, they head to Leeds, Glasgow, London, and Birmingham across late November and December to kick off the 10th anniversary celebrations.
