New music champions This Feeling are back with “This Feeling By The Sea” at Bridlington Spa in August, and they are giving up and coming bands and artists a chance to be there playing!
Taking place across the weekend of August 29th and 30th, they will provide two independent artists with a platform at this year’s event.
BBC Introducing’s Jericho Keys will pick a local winner from Yorkshire to kick things off on Friday.
Jericho commented: “This Feeling are most certainly a movement. A gang of music fanatics, where the artists are at the heart of everything they do. It’s a buzz to be on this ride with them. Don’t miss the bus!”
While Radio X’s “most trusted man in music” John Kennedy will pick a national winner to open on Saturday.
John commented: “This Feeling and new talent go hand in hand. Discovering and nurturing new artists is at their core and they do it brilliantly.”

Last year’s winner, Alex Spencer has just released his new EP ‘Where Do We Go From Here?’ and along with some huge festival performances and headline shows, was selected as a special guest for The Black Keys.
It shows just what kind of platform is on offer, spearheaded by an organisation in This Feeling who have provided the first stages for many now-established acts up and down the UK.
In other news, This Feeling By The Sea’s Saturday line-up has been boosted by the addition of Liverpool band, The Sway, who will be following up support slots with The Libertines and Jamie Webster.
Applications for “Apply to Play” will close at 6pm on Friday, July 25th before the winners are revealed on Thursday, July 31st.
