One of the North West’s most iconic songwriters, Richard Ashcroft, has announced two live shows for October 2024.
Following his incredible homecoming show at Wigan’s Robin Park, the former frontman of The Verve will be heading to The Royal Albert Hall, London on Friday 25th and Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Sunday 27th.
The London date will be particularly special, as it will see Richard perform with a string section.
Ashcroft has enjoyed a successful career to date, as a two-time Ivor Novello winner (Songwriter of the Year in 1998 and Outstanding Contribution to British Music in 2019) with five Top 5 solo albums to his name.
This is in addition to ‘Urban Hymns’ (The Verve), which is the UK’s 18th biggest selling album of all-time.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 13th September and will be available from www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
