To celebrate the release of their eagerly anticipated new album Visions Of A Life, Wolf Alice performed live and held an exclusive signing event at HMV 363 Oxford Street, London on 30th September. Today the band have been in Glasgow, and they will be heading to HMV in Manchester tomorrow.
Undoubtedly one of the UK’s most exciting live acts, the in-store gave fans the chance to see Wolf Alice perform brand new tracks in HMV’s intimate in-store gig space before their world tour kicks off later this year. Following the performances, the band were on hand to meet fans and sign copies of the new record.
Visions Of A Life is fundamentally a personal album, and one of great growth for Wolf Alice. The record features the previously released songs Yuk Foo, Don’t Delete The Kisses and Beautifully Unconventional. The album is available now, and has came in for rave reviews from the critics.
Wolf Alice’s 2015 Gold-selling debut album My Love Is Cool hit No. 2 in the UK charts in June of that year, and No. 12 on the Billboard alternative albums chart in the US. They were nominated for the Mercury prize, Ivor Novello Award, a BRIT for Breakthrough Act and Grammy for Best Rock Performance, and took home two NME Awards. They crisscrossed the UK, the US, Australia, Japan and Europe on the mother of all two-year tours.
